"New York Times" features anti-gun editorial

The "Fish-wrap of record" puts opinion on its front page for first time since the 'Flapper' era

The New York Times, long known for its heavily biased, anti-Liberty reporting, has placed an opinion piece on its front page for the first time since 1920. The piece makes an impassioned, though ultimately vapid, argument for extreme gun control measures, including banning law-abiding citizens from owning certain types of currently-legal weapons; they go further, however, supporting full confiscation of said-weapons.

The featured editorial comes on the heels of the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California, where two ISIS-supporting Muslims killed 14 individuals, wounding 21 others. Despite this being the most deadly act of terrorism on American soil since September 11 of 2001, the Times has curiously focused on the weapons used, rather than the terrorists and their religious ideology.

One line from the piece was very telling, an argument oft-used by those attempting to strip Americans of fundamental Constitutional rights, especially those found in the Bill Of Rights.

No right is unlimited and immune from reasonable regulation.

I find this to be an odd sentiment for a newspaper to support. That noted, what one sends out will return to them, therefore if the Times is successful in this campaign perhaps we should review all the 'rights'... make sure those exercising them are adhering to perpetually redefined views of what "reasonable regulation" really means...

... perhaps the first amendment, for example, especially that bit discussing freedom of the press? Would that be a good place to continue this trend? If so, I have some thoughts on the newspapers in New York City...
